By car:
Take exit 293 off of I-17. This is about 40 miles south of Flagstaff and about 90 miles north of Phoenix. You drive through McGuireville (a gas station, two antique shops and a bar) and cross a little bridge over Beaver Creek. Follow the signs for the Beaver Creek Inn.

If you fly into Phoenix and do not want to rent a car, the Sedona Shuttle, or the Open Road Tours shuttle or the Greyhound bus can transport you north. Have your friends meet you at the Camp Verde stop (a Chevron station at the Camp Verde exit). This is about 10 minutes from the Beaver Creek Inn in Lake Montezuma.
